Donald Roeser

Donald Roeser, widely known by his stage name, Buck Dharma, is an American guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter, best recognized as a member of the rock band Blue Öyster Cult. Born on January 12, 1947, he has been a pivotal figure in the band since its formation in 1967. Blue Öyster Cult is noted for its unique blend of hard rock, heavy metal, and progressive rock, often incorporating elements of science fiction and horror into their lyrics. Dharma is particularly acclaimed for his work on the iconic tracks "Don't Fear the Reaper," "Godzilla," and "Burnin' for You." His distinctive guitar work, characterized by innovative solos and melodic phrasing, has left a lasting impact on the rock genre.
